Layered Salad Recipe – It’s Delicious
I made this layered salad recipe on Christmas day and it was delicious. All the guests wanted a copy of the recipe, and the best thing about this layered salad recipe is that it took me a half hour to make. Quick and easy.
Layered Salad Recipe
You will need:
1 packet fried bacon bits
1 lettuce shredded
2 green peppers chopped (I didn’t have green, so I used a red and a yellow pepper)
2 medium onions chopped
frozen baby peas (do not cook)
1 cup of Orley Whip or Miracle Whip
1 – 2 tbsps of sugar sprinkled
grated cheddar cheese to sprinkle over the top.
Layer the above in the order shown. Start with the bacon at the bottom, then the lettuce on top of that and so on….
Do not stir or mix.
After putting the cheese on top, cover the salad with plastic wrap and leave it for 3 – 4 hours before eating.
This salad looks beautiful if you do it in a high round glass container.
Feel free to add in any other variation you like.
Things like cucumber and corn also work well within this layered salad recipe.
Feel free to share this with your friends and family on Facebook. They will love it.
