Summer Treat Recipes For You To Try

Summer Treats
Summer Breakfast:
250 ml fruit cocktail juice
250 ml plain yogurt
1 small tin grenadilla pulp (keep to tsp aside)
Mix everything together in a blender.
Pour into two tall glasses and top with extra pulp.
Serve as a healthy light breakfast on the run.
Pudding In A Glass:
250 ml fruit cocktail juice
150 ml orange juice
2 tots vodka, gin, or brandy
2 scoops of vanilla ice cream
mint leaves
Mix everything together in a blender.
Pour into two tall glasses.
Garnish with mint leaves and serve as an instant dessert.
Tall Drink For One:
250 ml orange juice
250 ml ginger ail
Ice cubes
Mix everything together and pour into a tall glass. Serve as a cocktail.
Brandy or rum can be added for extra taste and vooma.
Fruit Explosion Slushy:
1/2 cup Ginger Ale
1/2 cup of fruit cocktail
1/4 cup of Orange Juice
1/4 cup of Apple Juice
Mix and enjoy!
Sparkling Jelly With Berries:
500 ml sparkling grape juice
150 g caster sugar
5 sheets gelatine
seasonal berries
Lay the gelatine sheets in a shallow bowl and cover with cold water. Leave to soak for five minutes or until softened.
Pour the grape juice into a pot and bring it to a boil.
Remove from the heat and add the sugar and stir until dissolved.
Squeeze out the gelatine sheets and whisk into the hot liquid.
Pour the jelly into a lightly oiled jelly mold and refrigerate for three hours or until set.
Invert onto a serving platter and surround with a wreath of seasonal berries.
